Why do so few people know about this?

What is contextual morality?  In a nutshell, it means you and I have human rights until it becomes inconvenient.  For ex:  Rape is wrong, but is excusable when a man ‘just can’t help himself’.  Or, child abuse is wrong, except when parents are stressed out. Thus, contextual morality does NOT guarantee protection from human rights violations.  It merely advocates human rights when its politically correct to do so, but when faced with the pressures of real life – contextual morality is a cop out, a wuss, flip-flop, a COWARD.

Morality must be consistent.  Otherwise it is unfair.  How can anything be called “ethical” or “moral” if it is not “just”?

You will most likely encounter people like this at UWF.  Be prepared for the false compassion of those who are concerned about one victim but inhuman towards another.  They see the tragedy of a rape victim but fail to acknowledge the tragedy of mass millions of slaughtered unborn children.  How do you respond to a moral contextualist?  You do not allow them to dehumanize the unborn in the conversation.  They must must must acknowledge who (plural) they are talking about.

When they talk about a victim of rape who has been impregnated, they must be reminded they are speaking about a victim of rape and a newly conceived innocent child.  Don’t allow them to pit the child against the mother.  Both are innocent. They must FIRST be convinced that you also see the tragedy of the mother and bemoan this atrocity.  How could we not??  At the same time, they need to also see the innocence of this newly conceived child, who should not be punished for something he or she could not help.  Then they need to know that peace is the answer.  Killing never heals.

They need to know that unfortunately nothing can erase the victim’s memory of the crime – not even abortion.  The damage has been done, the criminal must be punished to the full extent of the law and the victim needs to receive protection and healing.  Abortion only adds another trauma to the victim.  Rather than forgetting that she became pregnant, she will always remember the day she took the life of her child.  This does no justice to the mother.  A peaceful solution is to give the child up for adoption.  When a victim gives birth, she has the solace that despite the terrible manner in which she was impregnated, she can squelch the violence that began with her oppressor by giving the precious gift of this child to a gracious barren couple.  By the way, this is NOT something I’ve thought up myself, it is what victims of rape have already said about their experience choosing life.

Remember, any “compassion” that advocates murder is false compassion.  If we want an end to the violence of rape and incest, we will end it through laws that protect victims and punish offenders.

May peace reign in our hearts, in our actions, and soon in our society!

Our group does countless projects to help save lives, yet I would have to say this single event has been the most powerful at bringing the tragedy of abortion to the forefront of students’ minds.  The Great Pink Elephant that NOBODY wants to look at was UNVEILED!

Did everyone have a perfect transformation?  No. I don’t think that is realistic considering many students have been taught a lie for a long time, and recovery to the truth takes some time.  What was crucial was that students were faced with the truth, clear and easy to see.  They saw the picture of the victims of abortion.  The truth about abortion’s violence is hard to ignore when the bloody reality of it is silently displayed for all to see.  I would say that those who did not admit to a full change of heart will have a hard time feeling confident in their pro-abortion stance from here on because they will forever remember what that action looks like in reality.  I repeat my sidewalk chalk message:  If abortion is okay, why are we afraid to look at it?

Not only did this event force everyone on campus to confront the reality of abortion, but it enabled us to distribute information about the Alpha Center to countless students and even brought quite a few new members into our group!  People repeatedly remarked at how peaceful, conversation-inspiring, and honest this event was.  This was our goal in supporting the event. This is Genocide Awareness Project’s goal in every event they do.  We thank them for providing this event to us FREE OF CHARGE. Many of their volunteers traveled all the way from Canada to help put this on.

Thank you everyone who attended the event, all who helped man our Alpha Center and Students for Life tables, and all who took the opportunity to practice pro-life apologetics at the event.  Most of all, thank you GAP event members, you are truly changing hearts and minds!

2. Pensacola abortion worker decides to leave work!

• While praying in front of the abortion facility this week, Ernie and Marybeth (coordinators of 40 Days for Life Pensacola) were approached by a woman crying who said, “I just started working in this place and I want to get out of this job.  When I was placed here by the staffing agency, I had no idea what I would be doing in this place.”  She is desperate for work as she has been unemployed for 6 months and needs work as a medical assistant.  She was crying as she spoke to us, and it is really apparent that she is disgusted by what is happening in the abortion facility, and does not want to work their another day.  If you know of any openings for a medical assistant, please reply to this email.

3. UWF Students for Life returns from the March for Life psyched to stand up for LIFE!

• We drove up to the March for Life Friday in two packed-to-capacity minivans.  We had a social/party Friday night mid-way, then arrived in D.C. Saturday evening.  We went to Uno’s pizzeria at Union Station, then camped out at a church hall with our sleeping bags.  Sunday we attended the National Students for Life conference in Baltimore, Maryland.  There we personally met national pro-life leaders like: David Bereit, Jason Jones, Dr. Lanfranchi, Mark Schwarz, and Kristan Hawkins!  Pumped up and educated in multiple sectors of the pro-life movement, we ended the night visiting some of the major U.S. historical sites.  We got to see the White House, Washington Memorial, the reflecting pool, Einstein memorial, Lincoln memorial, and Vietnam memorial.  Monday, we packed up, ate lunch at the Smithsonian museum of Natural History, marched at the March for Life – and in doing so, saw and met countless other college students at the March as well.  We got to hear the testimonies of women who regretted their abortion, and view with our own eyes how many pro-aborts actually protest at the March for Life.  Last year, the media either ignored the March for Life or reported the event fraudulently.  You can see what I’m talking about here. We can tell you with eye-witness authority that the March for Life is a pro-life event, and the ratio of pro-lifers to pro-aborts was and always is hundreds of thousands to 10-15 (at most).  Having seen the March for Life for ourselves, we celebrated over a cup of coffee at Starbucks and then drove back home to Florida!

“An abortion doctor who catered to minorities, immigrants and poor women was charged with eight counts of murder in the deaths of a patient and seven babies who were born alive and then killed with scissors, prosecutors said Wednesday.

A Prayer for Abortion Workers

Lord, I lift up to you all abortionists and their staff, including: all technicians, nurses, receptionists, counselors, chaplains, and all who are employed or voluntarily assisting with the killing of the unborn in any way. I place each one of them in the innermost recesses of Your Sacred Heart — Your heart of mercy, compassion and love for all Your children.

I pray that they will accept the supernatural graces that You give them this day to rennounce the: the horrific killing of Your children, the psychological, physical, and spiritual harm that they are doing to women through their actions, and the tremendous spiritual, physical, and psychological harm they are doing to themselves.

Give them an abundance of courage and strength to say “No” to murder and to escape the culture of death and the constant torment and resentment that they experience in their lives.

As they approach You, encourage them to draw nearer, remove the veil that covers their eyes and blinds them to the truth. Pour out Your tender, loving mercy upon them that they will see the truth, the reality, and the consequences of their actions. Draw them into the light of your love and penetrate their souls with the light of truth, the light of Your knowledge, wisdom, and understanding.

I pray this in the Holy name of Jesus through the intercession all the saints and angels.

The same president who pledged to the graduating class of Notre Dame in 2009 to “find common ground” on abortion is now trying to remove conscience protection rights from the medical profession.

“When the Obama administration announced plans to get rid of the only federal regulation protecting conscience rights in health care, CMA swung into action and organized a coalition of nearly 50 organizations into a new entity, Freedom2Care,” he said in an email to LifeNews.com. “Our groups helped enable healthcare professionals and patients to flood the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) with approximately 340,000 regulation-supporting comments, which, by law, HHS officials must review before getting rid of the regulation.”

“Such efforts apparently delayed the administration acting on its threat until now,” Imbody said.

The advocate for medical professionals said medical workers and the pro-life people who support them need to act now to try to save the regulations.

“The government is now telling the court, in response to a lawsuit by several states against the conscience-protecting regulation, that HHS plans to eliminate or replace the conscience regulation by as early as January 31,” Imbody added. “That means we must act again to raise awareness of this threat to conscience rights, which has the potential to push life-affirming healthcare professionals out of medicine and strand the patients who depend upon them for care.”
